Just because he's full of shit doesn't mean the cards didn't sell out.
From Yahoo news:
As of Friday morning, the site selling the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) says they are sold out, and links to purchase the digital cards are no longer available.

OpenSea Data, which tracks the sales and markets for NFTs, indicated there were 45,000 of the Trump cards initially made available for purchase for $99 each. The Trump digital cards were the top trending item on the site as of Friday morning.

Just announced - The Jan6th Committee referred four charges to the DOJ.

And the DoJ will presumably forward them to the Office of the Special Counsel:
  • inciting or assisting an insurrection,
  • obstruction of an official proceeding of Congress,
  • conspiracy to defraud the United States, and
  • conspiracy to make a false statement.
None of this will be easy, but hopefully it accelerates the evidence-gathering phase for the OSC.

The Committee also announced that it will refer four Republican members of the House to the Congressional Ethics Committee for failing to comply with committee subpoenas.

The four members being referred are House speaker hopeful Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), along with Reps. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), and Scott Perry (R-Pa.).

The classified documents case gets cloudier with the public announcement that documents with classified markings have been recovered from a former office of President Biden.

The GOP is revving up their propaganda machine to claim that either Biden should be impeached or Trump exonerated. Or both.
This is going to stoke the impeachment fires already mentioned as one of the objectives of the new House of Representatives.

I wonder if it isn't best to just assign any inquiries to Jack Smith's office.

Well maybe the best way for the Dems to prevent that would be to not to give them the ammo to do so. It makes it much tougher to sell outrage at Trump over the mishandling of classified
documents when the two candidates you ran against him have instances of the same thing. Not that this makes the three cases all equivalent--Biden's sounds like it may be more sloppy and
minor while Hillary's, otoh, was quite intentional--but it does tend to punch holes in that whole 'moral high ground' thingie.

Hot Water Split 1

Post by MFS62 » Sat Mar 18, 2023 2:32 pm

Agent Orange has announced he will be arrested on Tuesday (for the Stormy Daniels payoff) and has told his supporters to "Protest! Take America back!" on that day. Law enforcement officials are already preparing for any violence.
If there is violence, they should immediately add "inciting a riot" to the charges.

What a vile scumbag. Everybody who voted for this piece of shit should be forced to live the rest of their lives in the shadows and in shame just like Hitler's voters and supporters were shamed in the aftermath of WWII.

Ha. By indicting him, we ARE taking America back.

As for protests, it might be wise to remind them that 40,000 NYPD officers are a bit different than the Capitol Police.

The NY Cops feel it may take fewer than that:
If a significant demonstration materializes in the next week, NYPD sources said the force may deploy the Strategic Response Group, a roughly 700-hundred-member unit trained in “disorder control.” The department, if necessary, could escalate that response by deploying a Level 4 alert—which would put eight cops and one sergeant on alert in every precinct.

Hot Water Split 2

Post by kcmets » Sun Mar 19, 2023 6:05 pm

I think a really sad and ugly news week is on the horizon.

Haven't decided how (or if) I'm going to follow it. I may just bury
my head in the sand hoping it all goes away and it was all a dream.

I seriously can't take much more.

I think he is concerned about being arrested because in addition to having his mug shot and fingerprints taken, NYC law says they have to take a DNA swab. And once that is in the system, they will be able to compare it to the stains on the dress from a prior rape accusation.

The DNA thing is interesting.

If I was a life-time pussy grabber, and god knows where and when
I left behind DNA, I guess in addition to worrying about the three or
so dozen other cases against me I'd be worrying about this as well.

I can't say often enough how sick and tired I am of seeing, hearing
and having to think about Trump. Seven year nightmare with no real
end in sight.

Hopefully, his arrest and DNA sample will happen just in time to be used in evidence in the rape case:

Tuesday is almost 2/3 over.

That arrest is looking like another broken promise.
