I have posted a post. It was thrilling. I do like the interface. It feels like I'm creating a tiny blog post or something, but it's really clean and intuitive. They could use an app, IMO. And more users.

Post is pretty bland so far. I follow over 2000 accounts on Twitter but only 300+ on Post (and the majority are peeps I don't really know of). Between some accounts clinging to Twitter, the use of Mastadon and the slow opening of accounts available on Post, it could be a while before a lot of content gets through.

I still use Twitter most. If you are getting many ads for personal accounts popping up, I recommend blocking every one. It's tedious for a couple of days, but I rarely see them anymore, so the algorithm must have figured out that they don't need to present them to me.

It sucks that they disabled the clients that accessed Twitter. I was happy with tweetcaster now it's useless and the phone app sucks

The problem with all of the other platforms is a lack of content. Not sure how you fix that. Until Twitter is literally dead and offline it'll be the medium of choice for brainlessly short bursts of word salad.

I blocked him a few weeks back but it's impossible not run across his shit anyway. His behavior yesterday with the twitter employee asking if he'd been sacked or not was indeed vile.

Let's outsource our space program to a maniacal emerald heir. What could go wrong?

And the day the rocket blew up, Tesla stock dropped.
What a coincidence!

I do like to follow #Mets and #LGM during a game, to see random fan reactions to various things that happen over a few hours. I guess that won't work any more? I wonder. I use Tweetdeck mostly as I prefer that interface so I'll have to see if it just dries up after a few innings
