There was the visit to the booth from John Travolta -- likely in 1985 because I believe he was plugging PERFECT, a film starring him and Jamie Lee Curtis -- where Ralph chimes in with, oh yeah, I used to date her mother (Janet Leigh) after Jamie Lee's name came up.

Travolta, though a Jersey/NYC kid, probably had no idea who that old man in the corner was (Ralph would have then been 62) but his face suddenly had a look of profound respect on it. Playa recognizing Playa.

One of my favorites from many moons ago now. I had read in the Sunday
paper (remember those?) that the final piece of The Ol' Girl was going down
that Monday so we took a ride out for a final farewell.
