Three hours plus and they're only in top 8th !!!
OTOH, grand slams [Trea Turner] that bring you from down two to up two are kinda cool.

Pete was 0 for 9 before that so he must be very relieved.
Jeff's 1 for 8.

Escobar returns to PSL after going 1 for 10.
Narvarez returns after going 1 for 4. Perhaps he can use the last 10 days of ST to learn more about the pitching staff of his employer.

Get him out of there.

Also, it looks like he may have broken Jose Altuve's hand.

Oh, no. I'm delighted and impressed. USA has scored in every inning. Alonso is in the lineup. McNeil has come off the bench, walked twice and scored twice. Terrific.

I wish there there was a Céspedes element in the Cuba lineup, but you can't have everything.

The Mets have signed righty reliever Bubby Rossman (his 99 mph fastball and his orchestra) off the roster of Team Israel.

So it seems that one of Cuba's catchers didn't make it onto the flight back to Havana this morning. Wasn't sure that defecting from Cuba was still a thing.
