Go figure. I've been playing Wordle every day more or less since the start of this thread, after a many month hiatus when the game's migration to the NYT caused my stats to disappear.

About a month ago, I got stumped on a Wordle game -- the game that it was pointed out by Edgy that an unusually high number of players had also lost. (Me too.) As far as I can remember, that was the only Wordle game that ever stumped me.

Today, after playing Wordle (a three!) I notice that my stats indicated that my current streak was at five, even though it should be at least in the 20s, maybe even 30s. How does that happen? Or why does that happen?

A streak can also be broken if you go a day without playing a puzzle at all - at least that's been my own experience.
