I'm sure many here remember seeing this, so good
Did a 52 die recently, or are you posting that in tribute to Ricky Wilson?

I love the 52s. But I have to admit, when I first saw that performance live, I'm not sure I was equipped to really absorb what I was looking at and listening to.

Seeing/hearing that almost makes you want to go out and buy an oversized suit.

Hopefully they play this when the Mets hit back-to-back homers tonight.

Yeah, I was gonna give you a slap if Fred Schneider suddenly popped off, but presumably Taylor Hawkins is back there laying down the beat, so I think this sadly qualifies.

I think Keith Strickland is on guitar there too.

Still fun.

Ahmad Jamal passed last week at 92, but that left hand of his seems unstoppable.

Well, that should be unsurprising, and yet kind of hits like a punch in the gut. Canada will have to shut down for a few days.

A sad adieu to Smiths' secret weapon Andy Rourke. Though he's alternately melodic, thundering, and funky as heck, there's precious little footage that focuses on him, but here he is destroying it as a guest of old bandmate Johnny Marr.

If you can get past Morrissey upstaging him like an emo David Lee Roth, this is him at his best, laying down a line that's Bernard Edwards and John Deacon and John Taylor all at once.

At his strongest, before the wigs took over.

The finish shouldn't be as terrific as it is, but it is.

His voice changed remarkably little across the length of his career which, considering how long it was, is pretty remarkable.

Very much my 18-year-old self’s jam.

Hope for the best. Expect the Mets.

My 14-year-old self dug that track too. He had a two-hit-single post-Eagles run that was pretty much 95% of career value moving forward. Hopefully those Eagle residuals kept coming in. His backing band there is Silverado — pretty much a B-team of Laurel Canyon country-rock crossover all-stars.

The next single had a little more Kim Carnes, briefly released from side gig duetting with Kenny Rogers.

Terrific voice, Randy, but you didn't even change your track suit between vids.

Seeing as how Timothy B. Schmidt replaced Meisner in both Poco and later in the Eagles, I think it would be best for T.B.S. to look both ways before crossing the street for the next few days lest he wind up following him again.
