The Lighthouse (2019)

Post by metirish » Mon Jun 12, 2023 2:26 pm

Currently streaming on Paramount+

I've rewatched this over the weekend, two terrific performances by Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson. Two lighthouse keepers try to keep their sanity while on a remote lighthouse

this was the best/worst film to watch during the height of Covid isolation and lockdown. If it's A24, it's always going to be challenging/weird/beautiful.
great googly moogly!

Yeah, liked it a lit. Late period Willem Dafoe is pretty great. I’d thought of Pattinson as a lightweight before that but he held his own.
