That place looks super nice. Still not sure what "affordable housing" means next to a stadium in New York in 2023 but hopefully good on them for trying? I hope it all works.

I was in Seattle for a Mariners game last weekend with a Sounders start time next door at the same time. It was hectic down there, but public transport should be way better in Queens, I would think.

The problem in Seattle is that Mayor Weber rejected Steve Dunne’s SuperTrain proposal back in 1992.

Please read the words of the song, this is how it feels to be a true football fan.

Yes Naples are mad bastards but I love them sooo much. They love their City, love their team, love to party and are derided by the north. When I crossed paths with them They’re kindred spirits to where I’m from and my team. Imagine singing something like this at Citi field in the playoffs!

Messi didn't take the Saudi blood money, apparently turned down $1 Billion, anyway he'll be OK

Plenty of time to catch up on Messi. Unless you're a gen-u-ine Inter Miami fan, I'd start with the Mets and drift over to the Cup at 9:00.

Leo is not in the starting XI so I've got those other guys in pink playing soccer balling on the cell phone and the Mets on the big screen.

AppleTV is trying to turn the Messi story into their real-life Ted Lasso, so Kim is the easy choice to cast as their Keely.

Of course Messi wins it with a gorgeous goal in extra time. GOAT gets thrown around too much but this man the GOAT.

Conservatives are happy that the Women's team lost, saying it was because they're "woke".

One of my maniacal K-12 classmates posted on fb that if the US women
practiced more instead of worrying about virtue signaling they'd still be
in the tournament. I was going to answer but moved on. When I call him
on stupid shit he always tells me to lighten up and it's satire or whatever.

if old white men would just stop spending so much damned time vice-signaling, we might just have a functioning country / society / government

I'm shocked.
And sad.
He's going to play with Bayern.

Messi and Miami played yesterday evening in NJ against the Red Bulls , pathetic fan base rooting against their own team just to see Messi , I don't think the Red Bulls have ever connected very well in this area.

Neymar has passed Pele as Brazil's all time soccer scorer.
