That seems about par for what the other lawyers have gotten. I'm kind of wanting to see a precedent of somebody convicted of one of the RICO statute violations.
She got off pretty easy.

She must have some dirt? Makes you wonder.

I hope the penalties are inversely proportional to the value of their testimony*. But because it is a felony, she will lose her license to practice whatever kind of Law she's been practicing.

Even bigger, Mark Meadows is now apparently talking to Jack Smith. This affects both federal cases- Jan 6 and the stealing/misuse of classified documents. If there's one person you want to flip, it's Meadows. He saw, knew and participated in everything.

Of course, he's still on the hook in Georgia. Man needs to see the inside of a jail cell, I don't care how much he blabs.

That's why I'm kind of put off by the precedents here.

The reports on Mark Meadows suggest that he flipped months ago.

Kind of incredible, or not that House Republicans are following Trump's lead , and on a day he's in court and his former chief of staff gets immunity, what a shit show

Yes, I'm not sure this is an entirely new revelation. However, I'm guessing any DC flippage/immunity deal is limited both ways since he has not done the same in the Georgia state case.

The legal arguments Donnie used in the past may comeback to haunt him. This explains how:
https://slate.com/news-and-politics/202 ... itter.html
The problem for defendant Trump is that his capacious view of the president’s official duties is the opposite of the position he and his lawyers advanced in the Supreme Court when, as president, he was sued for blocking his Twitter followers.

Donnie Jr. showed up in court today to testify in the New York State fraud case against the Trump Enterprise.
Don't know if anyone else saw this (my wife did), but as he entered the courthouse, he passed a security officer carrying an automatic rile. He gave Donnie Jr. a very clear White Supremacist sign with his hand.
I said she must be mistaken, but she showed me a screen shot she took on her phone and it is unmistakable.
Have any of the media mentioned this?

If that's what you saw, and you believe your screen shot is indeed unmistakable, I'd encourage you to alert the authorities.

It's certainly led to a lot of online speculation. Newsweek has reached out to the courthouse. They haven't heard back, but are dubious that nefarious intent is at play.

Thanks.
Now I'll have to reluctantly tell my wife she has keen observation skills.
Meanwhile, the two sons are providing nothing concrete (double entendre intended) in their testimony other than trying to convince the Judge that they didn't know what was going on around them. There's a joke in there somewhere, but I'll leave that to the late night hosts.

"I don't recall" and "that was handled by others" seem to be the go-to's for Uday and Qusay.

Of course, Tish James has the receipts. They were up to their neck in fraud, regardless of what their foggy memories say.

It's kind of weird for Forbes to be covering the former president's shit-talking of Forbes on the stand.
