Is Scott Greer British? If so, "need" is correct. They would treat "The Right" as a plural noun where in America we'd look at it as if it was singular.

Bi-partisan hearings are going on right now concerning laws to (Among other things) protect children from predators on social media. The CEOs of five major social media sites are there. Lindsay Graham says it has the backing of the "entire GOP".

I wonder about Matt Gaetz.
How will he vote?
Where will he have to go to find dates?

It's not shocking, but certainly comes as a modest surprise, to see the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas fail 214-216. Four Republican Congressmembers joined a unified Democratic caucus in opposition.

I similarly wouldn't be surprised to see it re-litigated, but hopefully it'll be understood to be a loser — as are the attempts to impeach the president for guilt by association — and they can pivot to ... something.

The NY special election for the George Santos seat is next week. I would guess the outcome of that race will help determine if they revisit the Mayorkas impeachment down the road since they will likely have one more party-line vote either for or against once the winner is seated.

The fact that the Speaker brought up two votes that lost yesterday (Mayorkas impeachment and stand alone Israeli aid) shows that he is in over his head as a Speaker.

The Republicans are just not serious people right now.

They're as serious as a heart attack.
They're laser focused on retaining power, even at the expense of our democracy.

RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel has fallen out of favor with the former president, and therefore is being made to resign her position.

Maybe some folks have shamelessly abased themselves for the guy more than her, but she changed her name to appease him.

Sliwa is a dick of the highest order.

The Mayorkas impeachment was only saved by a Democratic congressman being rushed from the hospital to vote, in a wheelchair, in scrubs and with no shoes. He'd missed an earlier trivial vote so they thought they were in the clear. Nuh-uh.

Johnson's proven pretty incompetent but Trump loves him so he's in no danger. It's pretty easy to NOT do stuff.

No that was (IIRC) Laraine Bobbert.
This one is a gun-totin' congresswoman from Colorado with a GED (it took her three times to get it) who grabbed her boyfriend's crotch in a theater.
Different hieny, different person.
