Laurie totally disavowed her Partridgity, the only one of the kids to do so.

Well, Chris I disavowed The Family while his status within it was still fresh.

Susan Dey did a made-for-TV version of Little Women in which she marries a German-accented William Shatner. With such a record, the idea that it's The Partridge Fam she's embarrassed by is disappointing. But the trauma of youth can do that to a person.

Sometimes I got the idea that she just hated David C.

He talked about getting in her pants on the PF set, or strongly hinted at it.

From what I’ve read she begged him for sex, he agreed and then told her she wasn’t ‘raunchy’ enough for his tastes and then pretty much ghosted her.

I hope none of that is true.

Didn't it come out some time ago that Shirley Jones said she was a sex
addict back then and that everyone was doing everyone on the Partridge
Family set? Ahhh, the 70's...

Pretty sure it was Shirley and not Florence Henderson and it was even
discussed here buried in some long forgotten thread?

Some serious Partridge/Taco obsession going on there.

Guilty pleasure alert- we're binging LA Law now and it's amazing people had offices without PC's on their desks. And if they left the office YOU COULD NOT CONTACT THEM IN ANY WAY until they returned. And considering this was the height of the AIDS crisis, there was a lot of nookie going on. Including Susan Dey, who I have to say aged very nicely from her Partridge days. Falling down the internet rabbit hole I learned that she's now 71 years old. Yikes.
Even duct tape can't fix stupid. But it can sure muffle the sound.

That's one hell of a thread, what with 3 of us discovering tacos in Jr High and all all thanks to Keith.

It's too bad the images and videos didn't port.

My goal remains to stream every episode in sequence but I've fallen off in the last couple of weeks and haven't gotten any further than S1, E9 (Danny becomes a comedian-- didn't like it). Danny arguably had a bigger role than Keith early on. The one where Keith falls for the one girl who won't chase him was pretty solid.

He was also in an episode of the Brady Bunch.

The title of this thread (as opposed to the subtitle) makes me think we should be discussing that show that had Buffy and Jody and Mr. French.

Frayed Knot TOTALLY disapproves of my Family Affair affinity.

Sissy's favorite band on that show was an outfit called The Velvet Vultures, which is just a really great name for a fake band.
