Schneider is correct. The apple is actually 4,800 pounds, but you're close enough based on the hint I gave, so you get credit for it. With the hydraulics and guideframes underneath, the total weight actually lifted is closer to 8,500 pounds. Two new questions have been added.

1. To my knowledge, there has only been ONE Mets player to have his only official Mets at bat be a game ending hit (and obviously if it was a game ending hit, it was a game winning hit). Who did it, and what year was it?

Hint: Spent only one year with New York. Eddie Murray debuted for the Mets that year.
Hint: Was mostly a pinch runner and defensive replacement, appearing in 18 games but having just one AB for the club. "End of the Road" was a #1 hit this year.

2. On May 7, 2010, for the first time in Citi Field history, this happened. What happened?

Hint: Has something to do with the way the game ended.
Hint: Todd Pratt hit one of these in a NLDS.

3. In 2009, who hit the home run for the Mets at Citi Field when the apple didn't come up due to a malfunction?

Hint: Played for the Mets from 2008 to 2010.
Hint: Had a breakout year with the Cardinals in 1999.

4. What was the weight of the apple at Shea?

5. Before David Wright broke the record with 161 Ks in 2010 (and his mark has been broken since then), which two players tied for the Mets single-season record for Ks by a batter? What was the amount?

Well, you got Kingman and 156 correct. I messed up on the hint, a typographical error. I meant to say Player One debuted in 1968, not 1969.

Olerud and game-winning home run are correct. I imagine you meant Chico Walker for #1, but that is incorrect. Walker was first drafted in 1976, while the correct answer was first drafted in 1982—he was drafted five times. A couple new questions have been added:

1. To my knowledge, there has only been ONE Mets player to have his only official Mets at bat be a game ending hit (and obviously if it was a game ending hit, it was a game winning hit). Who did it, and what year was it?

Hint: R.A. Dickey's winning percentage with the Mets was the same as the weight of the apple (remove the decimal point).
Hint: Take Keith Hernandez's number, multiply it by John Maine's number and add Max Scherzer's number.
Hint: Take Tom Seaver's number, multiply it by Gil Hodge's number, then add Gary Carter's number.

3. Which batter holds the Mets career record for bases on balls?

Hint: Was a third baseman.
Hint: Won two Gold Gloves.

4. In 1988 McReynolds hit 2 grand slams, most on the team.....both of them were pretty significant and memorable. Who were the pitchers who threw the pitches?

Hint: Pitcher One won a Cy Young Award in 1990. Pitcher Two was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2008.

5. Until Wilmer Flores achieved the same thing in 2016, what feat was Edgardo Alfonzo the only Met ever to have accomplished?

Hint: Involved hits.

Most total games is correct. He had 16. Six runs scored in one game would also have been correct. That's been done very infrequently, as well. Well done! A new question has been added, with hints for the rest.
