I didn't particularly like it either ... but, four runs later, it's tough for us to argue that it didn't work.

Bader chased upstairs a little on that homer too.

He chased and caught.

I haven't even considered what the Mets might be like if Bader turns out to be good.

Agreed. And using the bunt to get a runner to third with less than 2 outs is one of the situations where it's shown to have a positive effect.

I'm just hoping he's not one of those guys who loves bunting.

They say you are never as bad or good as you look

Certainly applies to the Mets first week and a half or so

I hope they are as good as they look going westward

Mets could certainly have a great road trip and why not

The Mets entered today just a half game out of the money (playoffs).

What a shitshow.

Welcome back to the rock show, Grant Hartwig.

I'm not sure you'll be getting on the plane to LA, but it's good to see ya.

Wouldn't it be a miracle if the old, Cy Young-quality Severino was back?

I'll just settle for (knocking wood) him to stay healthy for the full year and let the numbers work out for themselves.

As I often do on getaway day, I put myself in a social media deprivation tank and watched a DVR of the game while cooking and then after dinner. Very pleasant!

Hogwarts is the fictional British magic school in the Harry Potter books and films. The students of the school live in one of four rival dorms, or "houses," each with their own colors or coats of arms.

It gives fans of Harry Potter a chance to embrace the sub-brands by aligning themselves with one of the four houses.

It's part of the legacy of Harry Potter that it has un-made the American idea of boarding school as the place you get shipped off to, stuffed into an uncomfortable starchy uniform, and neglected by your family, and is instead now seem by 'Merican kids as the magical adventure of a lifetime.

These scarves are branded with the Hogwarts house colors as well as the Mets logo, and will be going for hunnerts of dollars online before the game is over.
