Yes! YESS!!!

The total is:

Keith Hernandez: 11 Gold Gloves
Johnny Bench: 10 Gold Gloves
Steve Garvey: 4 Gold Gloves
Jim Kaat: 16 Gold Gloves
Joe Piscopo: 0 Gold Gloves ... so far
The late Brooks Robinson: 16 Gold Gloves
Ozzie Smith: 13 Gold Gloves

TOTAL: 70 Gloves of Gold

I'd love to see someone try to bunt against a defense of Kaat at pitcher, Bench at catcher, Keith at first, and Brooks at third.

I would have gotten Piscopo (actually did think about guessing him) long before I guessed Bench.
Didn't see that one at all.

That's OK. We spoke with the judges and they all agreed that "Bo Deitl" was a much stronger guess than "unusually puffy Ron Darling."

I'm not sure Piscopo is an actual member of the party or is just coming by to shmooze. He does seem to be the only one standing.

Perhaps they were all invited to a Rawlings event and JP was the master of ceremonies or something.

Hey!
Don't be sad. The Russian judge gave you a 9.8.

Including that we saw six pitches in 70 seconds despite no one being forced to that pace by a pitch clock.
Dwight never walked off the mound. Barry never once left the box.

Certainly it's one reason why the '86 Mets played one nine-inning game that ran over 3:30 (3:32), six total that went 3:20 or more, 16 at 3:10+
In 2022, the last year prior to the clock rules, those numbers were not 1, 6, and 16 but 18, 41, and 67

That would make an interesting City Connect uniform. Just have the players dress in business casual.

From the movie Old Dogs, rather than a plainclothes celebrity BP session.
Hope for the best. Expect the Mets.

I loved Mike and this is a great memory, but I also remember how bad I thought Dave O'Brien and Tom Seaver were, Tom was mailing it in

Future Met Pete Harnisch pitches to former Met Randy "Moose" Milligan at Camden Yards while Oriole Park gets built around them.

Longtime Oriole player and coach (and 1969 Met opponent) Elrod Hendricks doing the catching.

That is a very interesting picture. Basically, MLB players playing sandlot baseball in their future home while it is being built.

It appears to be late stage, 21st century, with the full range of neon characters on the exterior, plus it looks like they have one of the two murals that were painted on the end of the grandstands.

The "Baseball Is for Kids" program, advertised on the back of the scoreboard, arrived around the turn of the century too.
