We mentioned he wasn't in the lineup. Is he injured? What's the injury?
After the Taylorboom one of the generic announcers said something like "and he's only in the lineup tonight because of an injury to Bader!"

Buster Olney talking a few minutes ago about how the Yanx will be looking for bullpen help between now and the deadline.

About a week ago Francesa (via whatever tin-can-and-string medium he's using these days) suggested a McNeil (prior to his recent surge) to the Yanx deal.
JMcN needed a change of scenery and would thrive in lefty-friendly YSIII, big Mike reasoned, and the Yanx he assured us had "a million" relievers in the minors that the Mets need and would take.
But it sounds like the Yanx don't even want the relievers the have or they'd be up already and Cashman wouldn't be searching other rosters for replacements.

Told youse we couldn't count on strafing Cole for six runs and four HRs in four innings like we did last time.
Tonight they've got a mere five runs on three HRs through 4-1/3

No big purple yet for Lindor's homer.

The Mets' pants and jerseys aren't the same shade of grey.

Watching Soto I can't help but wonder if I'm looking at a future Met.

The shirts are darker because they're sweatier.

The Meet at the Apple podcast interviewed Iglasis and he talked about how “Sevi” loves the sign and is the keeper of it in the dugout. It was a funny interview!

This has been an enjoyable game so far.

Discovering Severino actually has a personality has been one of the pleasant discoveries of this season. Teammates all respect his wardrobe, he's into the OMG sign, he's let his hair down a little. Hard to imagine any of that was possible as a MFY

Tack-on runs are nice.

Especially since this bullpen needs to get 12 outs tonight.

As slumping guys like McNeil heat up and hot guys cool off, the Mets lineup is really starting to flatten out, as if they're trying to move toward everybody in their batting order having the same exact OPS.

Thirteen, counting the big one that's already been checked off.

Howie Rose: "Yesterday they debuted Alex Young, and Young got a couple of big outs."

He's not wrong, but there were no small outs yesterday.

The first question that's asked of Carlos Mendoza tonight has to be, "So, what was going through your head when you decided to starting Tyrone Taylor?"

Best Yankee liberation project since Curtis Granderson, and kinda looser than Grandy.

Don't worry about no walk. That's Broadway Danny Young. Yankees didn't stand a chance.

Now we just need some relievers who are good at pitching frames.
