The madman will return to the social media platform X for an interview conducted by Elon Musk.

After that, he's gonna be interviewed on live TV by his typewriter daughter Ivanka.

For that second interview, will he be able to restrain himself from hitting on her?

Crazy Man Seeks Presidency

Trump is babbling nonsense about AI-generated crowds now? Jesus, get the hook.

To start your workweek, here is a message from the former president* of the United States.

“Has anyone noticed that Kamala CHEATED at the airport? There was nobody at the plane, and she ‘A.I.’d’ it, and showed a massive ‘crowd’ of so-called followers, BUT THEY DIDN’T EXIST! She was turned in by a maintenance worker at the airport when he noticed the fake crowd picture, but there was nobody there, later confirmed by the reflection of the mirror like finish on the Vice Presidential Plane,” Trump wrote. “She’s a CHEATER. She had NOBODY waiting, and the ‘crowd’ looked like 10,000 people! Same thing is happening with her fake ‘crowds’ at her speeches. This is the way the Democrats win Elections, by CHEATING.”

The Republican candidate for president has clearly lost his mind, and in public, too. I haven’t looked at today’s papers yet, nor have I checked the news channels on the electric teevee, but I assume this led them all: “Crazy Man Seeks Presidency.” Surely, the calls in the prestige press for the former president* to drop out and seek help have grown deafening, right?

Jesus H. Christ on a pommel horse, can we please have the Olympics back for a while?

Remember the debate against Hillary when he stood behind her, with a smirk on his face, while she was speaking?
If he tries the same thing, she should say "You've been found guilty of sexual abuse. NO woman can trust you behind her. Now get back to your podium."

Kamala will be ready for that, and will say something, I'm sure.

I actually hope he does something like that again.

I think the "her" was Ivanka, not Kamala.

I don't want to get caught up in endless poll readings with three months to go, especially because they're all so close.
But the trend in this Cook Political Report poll of battleground states is at least encouraging.

Arizona - Harris +2 (was Trump +3 in May)
Georgia - Tied (Trump +1)
Michigan - Harris +3 (Trump +2)
Nevada - Trump + 3 (Trump +9)
N Car - Harris +1 (Trump + 7)
Penn - Harris +1 (Trump +3)
Wisconsin - Harris +3 (tied)

He is forced to kowtow to her because he mouthed off to her earlier in the week, complaining that her PAC is run by "RINOs."

And she was all, "We just gave you $17 million, you big orange asshole."

It would be great if she pulled every last dime, but I won't holds me breath.

Unfortunately, half the country won't hear these remarks. Or, they'll hear them with the caveat "he didn't mean it" or some other bullshit explanation.

Anyone with a brain can see that Trump has no respect for the military. He cannot comprehend why someone would sacrifice for their country.

I think the entire concept of "sacrifice" is alien to him.

Why can ANYONE who ever served, or anyone related to anyone who ever served, or anyone who knows someone who ever served, vote for him? They should have their heads examined.

My daughter's brother-in-laws' family is a Gold Star family. The lost their son in Afghanistan.
and they are staunch MAGA loyalists.
The biggest problem is, they pass it down - in herds. The birthday picture of one of the3 year old great grandkids has him in camos holding an AR-15.

Two things to answer.

Some people are seduced by power. I'm sure you know that service members are not immune to this.

Fox News is the dominant news channel aired on military bases.

Yes, but they all swore to uphold the Constitution, which does not include violently trying to overthrow our duly elected government. Someone has to remind them of that.

Servicepersons who vote MAGA....bikini-clad women who vote MAGA...

Its not about what MAGA stands for. Its about being in the cool crowd. Its high school all over again but this time, the dumb jocks and mean girls are winning. Pick on someone or be picked on, but on a national level.

The equating of cool and competent is dangerous. It should be proven in high school. But...

If it isn't enough, the acid in that wound for me is that a guy who WAS president for four years doesn't know that the name of the medal is NOT the Congressional Medal of Honor. It is the Medal Of Honor. And it is awarded to members of all the service branches.
He should know that. It should be front (Or Editorial) page in The Army Times and other branch newspapers that he didn't.
Unfortunately, it won't be.

This highlights another weird thing about his character that's been evident for a long time — he's really, really uncomfortable and put off by people who are sick, wounded, or disfigured. He doesn't want to see them. He doesn't want to be around them. He doesn't like to be reminded that they exist.

He doesn't want to be seen with them. He has told his aides that it is a "bad image".
He has no rachmunus (the Yiddish word for consideration, or pity, for the less fortunate).

Harris momentum continues. In the NYT latest Times/Siena Poll, Harris has opened up a five point lead over the orange madman in Arizona and a two point lead in North Carolina.

In Arizona, a strong coalition of Republican politicians has formed to openly endorse Harris. Country over Party is their motto as they denounce the extremist do-nothing MAGA elements that have overrun the GOP and threaten democracy itself. Also, large numbers of Mormons will not vote for the Republican Presidential nominee this year, disgusted with his dishonesty and cruelty. That won't be enough for Dems to pull out a win in ruby-red Utah, which has the largest concentration of Mormons. But it could help put a win in the win column for Dems in Arizona.
