You wanna show off, show off. Usual CPF procedure is one at a time, no?

Mets.
Re: Off Day Trivia
Dodgers: correct, with 12.
Newcombe, Drysdale, Koufax (3), Marshall, Valenzuela, Hershiser, Gagne, Kershaw (3)
Braves: correct, with 7
Spahn, Glavine (2), Maddux (3), Smoltz
Rangers: incorrect. No Cy Young award winners for that franchise.

Re: Off Day Trivia
The Mets also won seven: Seaver (3), deGrom (2), Gooden and Dickey.
I'll also take the Phillies: Carlton (4), Bedrosian, Denny and Halladay.

I could run the table because I memorized every Cy Young winner.

Phils, almost on Carlton alone.

Red Sox. I think Lonborg won in 1967, plus a few from Clemens and Pedro, plus Rick Porcello.

Re: Off Day Trivia
Correct, exactly. 3 of Clemens’ and 2 of Pedro’s were won in Boston.Chad ochoseis wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2024 10:35 pm Red Sox. I think Lonborg won in 1967, plus a few from Clemens and Pedro, plus Rick Porcello.

Re: Off Day Trivia
It was the troll post. Also, I went through the entire FAQ and the only way I can see to block someone is through the friend/foe function. And that function always tells you when a foe has posted and gives you the option for every one of your foes' posts, to view the hidden post with one click. If there's another way to block someone, I didn't see it listed in the FAQ.Benjamin Grimm wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 9:18 am I don't see any vicious insult in the 2025 schedule thread. The only offensive thing I see in there is from the guy who posted, "Who gives a flying fuck?"

The MFers?
Also you didn’t check the Mets off
Speaking of MFers, the most recent “hated by all of baseball, except their own fanbase” franchise, Astros might have enough by now?

Re: Off Day Trivia
This quiz is over. The five teams were already guessed: Dodgers, Red Soz, Braves, Mets and Phillies. Nothing more to see here folks. I have no idea why he's still taking guesses when the quiz was solved yesterday. He said he was looking for the top five teams and the top five teams were guessed.stevejrogers wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 2:52 pm The MFers?

Re: Off Day Trivia
I'm pretty certain that if he's looking for the top five teams, they were posted yesterday. All five.

Looks like I won.
Re: Off Day Trivia
Only 3: two for Bob Gibson, and one for Chris Carpenter.
Re: Off Day Trivia
The Yankees have 6: Turley, Ford, Guidry, Lyle, Clemens, and Cole.
The Mets are the last correct answer, with 7: Seaver (3), Gooden, Dickey, and deGrom (2).

Re: Off Day Trivia
Also, it can't be the Cardinals because you wrote that there are five answers and five correct answers were already submitted. Unless you made a mistake and suddenly realized that it turns out that there are more than five correct answers. If that's the case, you should fess up and tell us that there are more than five answers.

Re: Off Day Trivia
I think that what Rogers is saying is that you didn't give proper credit for the Mets answer when it was correctly submitted yesterday. Rogers himself wasn't submitting an answer.
