I learned just before the Super Bowl that NFL All Pro RB Christian McCaffery is the son of former Broncos and 49ers WR Ed McCaffery. Somehow this had escaped me.

I also learned recently that Moe and Curly of Three Stooges fame were real life siblings.

It is cool to be a Michigander! worked for the Flint newspaper from 1990 to 1999. It’d say Flintite was more common. But when Michigan State won the national basketball championship with four Flint kids on the roster, they proudly called themselves Flintsones. It was pretty neat!

My friend's wife is from Flint, and she described herself as a Flintoid. I had my doubts that this was universally used, so I went to Wikipedia (because their authority is impeccable), and they listed "Flintstone" as if it's official.

I still have my doubts, but I'm accepting that as true because I WANT it to be true.

Neil Young is not only married to Daryl Hannah but has been so for like six years now ... I had no idea.
And I don't think it's something I knew but then forgot, I think it's something I just simply never knew.
I mean, I had no idea those two crazy kids were even dating much less married.

I knew about Hannah. As she had previously been involved with Jackson Browne, I'm guessing she's been a regular in what passes for the Laurel Canyon scene over the recent decades.

Neil had been married Pegi Morton, his former backup singer, for 36 years. They had two handicapped sons, and helped found The Bridge School to serve children with special needs. She was the longtime president of the school's board of directors, and made them quite wealthy by recruiting every rocker in Los Angeles to play their fundraisers over three decades. Many of Neil's peers and longtime Bridge School associates were said to be shocked by the divorce.

Pegi got the ranch he'd first bought in 1970 in the divorce. Neil quickly applied for US citizenship, which was held up because of past drug offenses. Once his citizenship was finalized, he moved back to Canada with Darryl, and Pegi died shortly after.

Also, Darryl Hannah is missing a finger.

Yeah, I knew most of the rest of that about Neil, although in freshening up with Wiki it turns out his first handicapped son (cerebral palsy) was
via actress Carrie Snodgrass (their relationship followed Neil's brief early marriage but he and Snodgrass never married). Neil and Pegi had a
son and a daughter together, that son also has cerebral palsy (gotta be in Neil's genes you figure) and the girl epilepsy.

And not that I'm usually up on the latest celebrity gossip, but I still found it odd that I missed a ten year relationship and six year marriage of
