That's rough. The White Sox just added to their loss total only because their would-be game-winning homer was pulled back by Travis in an awesome leaping catch.

I guess they think this is his best chance to catch on with a contender — with that catch as a calling card and one day before rosters freeze on September 1.

Pham continues to be a top go-to in-season move for pennant hopefuls as the Royals pick him up off StL waivers.
KC will be his ninth ML team just since 2018 ... and one of them twice!

9/16/14 - ML debut with StL
7/31/18 - traded to TBR
12/6/19 - traded to SDP
3/26/22 - Signs FA deal w/CIN
8/1/22 - Traded to BOS
1/24/23 - Signs FA deal w/NYM
8/1/23 - Traded to ARZ
4/16/24 - Signs FA deal w/CHW
7/24/24 - Traded to StL
8/31/24 - Claimed on waivers by KCR

His last full season with one team was 2021 in San Diego
Since then two in 2022, two in 2023, and when he makes his KC debut it'll be three in 2024
