Pinch-running at first and scoring the insurance run on a ninth-inning double is a pretty fun way to debut.

Some guys are September roster additions ... and soon betray us
This never happened to ... Pablo Reyes
He could pinch run and score from first on a double
Pablo Reyes would never betray us

Other guys become September Mets ... and just waylay us
We root for them to help us but they ... "Not today!" us
