Recuperating from a torn patella tendon is no way to celebrate a birthday.
But rum cake will help him celebrate AND kill the pain.

Thanks everyone!

Today started pretty good. Then the nerve blocker wore off. [whimper] and of course the double Mets postponement.

But I’m looking forward to some cake. Sadly no rum though. It interferes with the pain meds.
