I just realized they're doing that MLB 3 PM thing and the
season is 'over.' Not over for us by any stretch, but I kinda
just found that amusing. Nothing to see here yet, go about
your morning. There's a pitcher of bloody marys over there
on the counter and some nosh nosh...

1.23 WHIP for Rea. So a pretty good pitcher.

But with the way the Mets are playing it doesn’t matter who’s on the mound. They could throw their batboy out there and shut us down.

Peterson's been spotty lately and Milwaukee's already shown they're not laying down.

Time for breakfast.

I'd rather have 100% Acuña at short than 80% Lindor. But the current Mets trainers seem smarter, or at least luckier, than previous iterations. Maybe Lindor's back at full strength.

Gentlemen, you bear the numbers of Willie Mays, Bud Harrelson, and Jerry Grote on your uniforms. I expect you all to play like you aspire to be worthy of that honor.

Just so we all understand how grave an honor that is, I've asked Felix Millan to come talk to us today before we take the field. Please give him your undivided attention.
