I hope the money correlates to the number of votes she's gonna get.

Republicans Appear Poised to Take Control of Senate, New Poll Shows

The latest polling from The New York Times and Siena College shows Republicans leading in key Senate races in Montana, Texas and Florida.

This is the really scary part that so far, is hardly attracting any attention. That lopsided Senate map from six years ago that favors the GOP so disproportionately is back again this cycle. If this holds and the madman wins the White House, you can forget about it. He'll swap out Alito and Thomas for maniacs even more extreme than those two, if that's even possible. And the replacements will be 30, 35 years younger. The only way to flip the court then, I don't even wanna say it. Just look up the French Revolution and guillotine.

when you court lite fascists like Liz Cheney what happens is you get republicans to come out and vote for Harris...but also for republican senators and representatives.

The Senate seat currently held by Senator Rubio has been held by a Republican since 2005. The one held by Senator Cruz has been held by a Republican since 1993.

It's not stunning that polling suggests that might continue. But maybe it won't.

NY Times/Siena has been leaning Republican all year. We'll see what happens.

I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop - the nasty trick up the inadequately filled sleeve of Donnie Draft Dodger.
There was Pizza Gate, the dead aide, Hunter Biden's laptop, Wiki Leaks and maybe other smears that didn't get much press.
They threw everything at the wall to smear his opponent and some of it stuck.
Something will be coming out soon.
I hope Kamala's press team will be prepared.

All the odds are swinging Trump's way the past week. Looking at what's been going on in his camp, I can't figure out why.

Is this for real? Kamala needs something to sway the momentum.

Tell me about it. I am so terrified. What the hell is happening? He's like Hitler, but telling everybody ahead of time what he intends to do. He should be in jail and banned from holding a US office on top of that. He's a madman in mental decline and losing his mind by the day. And it's suddenly all bad news for Kamala.

I spoke to a friend of mine last week. She said she's not voting because she doesn't like either of the candidates. I told her that that's a false equivalency and by her response, I doubt she even knew what the term meant. Then at the supermarket I heard some ignoramus yapping about how eager she was to vote for the maniac because the supermarket prices were so high and who the hell could afford to shop anymore and how that was all Biden's fault. I actually butt in and asked her how the prices are Biden's fault. This is so depressing.

She needs something to stop his momentum.
And there's nothing dramatic (e.g.- Pizza Gate, Hilary's mail server, Hunter Biden's laptop)) that can be exposed that will make any difference to his mob. I doubt the pee tapes or a proven DNA test of a girlfriend's child would even make a difference. It would just be sloughed off as fake news.

A former governor of Louisiana, Edwin Edwards, was so sure of his victory at one point he made the comment, "The only way I could lose this election is to be caught in bed with a dead hooker or a little boy."
With him, that means there's still a chance.

All of the polls have been remarkably consistent for a while now, even over the past week. Harris has been up by 2 to 2.5 percent in the aggregated national polls for a while now and still is. Unfortunately, the seven swing states are excruciatingly tight. The media wants the $$$ from reporting on a horse race, so they love the D panic and will play it up.

Rs are going to throw as much shit against the wall as they can (including inflating the polling averages with R leaning results). Trumps main strategy is about stirring up such a frenzy that he can cry foul after the election.

Turn off cable news, remember that social media is not real life and do what you can to get your friends, neighbors, family and co-workers to go vote.

I've been knocking doors for months now and I've been encouraged anecdotally. Keep calm and carry on. Do what you can do.

Harris has started to show clips of his mental decline word salads at her rallies. Very effective.

She's also going to be interviewed on Fox (which is a great idea) and there's rumors of her going on Joe Rogan (which is a less great idea). Meanwhile Trump bailed on a CNBC interview at the last minute. If the Bloomberg interview was any indication, that was probably for the best.

I doubt it and it doesn't fucking matter. The madman could pull out his cock and masturbate right into the TV camera while whistling Inna-Gadda-Da-Vida and he wouldn't lose a single vote. This country has lost its mind.

Former President Donald J. Trump declared himself the “father of I.V.F.” in a town-hall event Tuesday focused on women’s issues, an eyebrow-raising nickname that was his latest attempt to claim an advantage on a matter that has become a political liability.

Then he left to go fuck Melania behind the stage for eight straight hours with his seventeen inch cock.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) in 2020 said then-president Donald Trump was a “despicable human being,” a “narcissist,” “stupid” and “ill-tempered,” according to excerpts from a new biography of the Republican leader by the Associated Press’s deputy Washington bureau chief.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... 6-capitol/

Great. This means that the unhinged maniac will pick up a few more votes when McConnell's book is published.

Instead of that Hobson's choice poll running in the baseball forum about either the Mets winning the WS or Kamala winning the next Presidency, we should run a poll, answers due in a day or two, asking who youse think will actually win the Presidential election -- when all the dust and the scumbaggery clears. Those results should be terrifying.

Diaper Don has cancelled several speeches and interviews this week (including the NRA) claiming "exhaustion".
Kamala should be playing that sound byte up as much as possible, using his Biden age slams against
him.

He's senile. He's crazy. He's evil. He's corrupt. He's stupid. He's nasty.

I can't imagine that anyone who cares about such things doesn't already know that.

I actually think the polls are as far off in 2024 as they were in 2016, but in the other direction, and that Harris wins in a landslide. I think even a lot of the MAGA cult will, in the privacy of a curtained voting booth, make a different choice because they know their guy is more washed up than JD Martinez.

Maybe this is just a wishful optimistic thing I'm thinking but I have a hunch about this.

I don't know if it says anything about anything more broadly, but I have an intransigent MAGA classmate guy I've been working on since 2016 — in futility, I thought — and he posted this the other day.

I was agog.
I hope you're all good and disappointed. This is what I can live with, this is what I'm doing.

Also, "LaRouche" is now a party? And they have their act together enough to be on the ballot in New York?

I share your hunch. The missus is freaking out, though. And it freaks her out even more that I'm confident.

"You were wrong in 2016!' she says.

"But I was right in 2020." I say.

There's a lot of stuff polls aren't catching. Who answers a phone call from an unknown number these days? Polls don't catch newly registered voters. There are ballot initiatives to enshrine abortion rights in Arizona, Nevada, Nebraska and Florida. The first two were Biden States and have Senate races where the Democrats look to be ahead. Nebraska is the 'blue dot'- the one electoral vote around Omaha which could be critical (there's also an interesting Senate race there). Florida is a reach for Democrats, but the ballot initiative seems to be ahead pretty significantly.

Back in the aughts, Republicans would put 'defense of marriage' anti-gay bills on the ballot to drive up turnout, and it worked. The same thing is happening now, only in reverse. There's a lot of hand-wringing right now, but I don't think anybody knows how this is going to shake out. So I choose to believe that Kamala is Pete Alonso, facing Devin Williams in the 9th with a 3-1 count. And Williams has just decided to throw the change-up.
