The yanx aren't playing particularly well in this series. They've been picked off multiple times; Gleyber Torres failed to run on a 2-out 3-2 pitch and also didn't move on a bloop that fell for a hit in short RF.

But the Guardians are rivaling the Metscfor RiSP ineptitude (at least prior to the late inning blitz yesterday) so the yanx were twice a batter away from a sweep.

Yep and rooting for a Mets/Guardians WS has been exasperating. They both need to come alive

Oh if it works out I may just have to bring back the Sterling + Waldman KTE one more time. These two old crustaceans

Cleveland turning this back onto a game. Big Christmas hitting with tying and go-ahead runners on, 7th inning

Sent one to the fence where it was caught. Gimenez whiffed.

6-5 MFYs going to 8th

All tied up on some dubious Yankee fielding.

Mark Leiter was afraid to throw Naylor a strike, but Naylor chased and chased.

Also, if I haven't already noted this, the Guardians' Marathon Petroleum patch may be the fugliest of them all.

Yankees had second and third and one out in the top of the ninth, but the Guards (a) didn't have the infield in enough, and (b) didn't handle the ball when the infield squib happened. Yankz up by one.

Down by two, the Clevelanders have two on and one out.

Magic is all over the place.

Berti bungled the third out, but got the ball to first in time.

Yankensteins up 3-1.

But, you know, so were the Dodgers.

Guardians draw first blood as the Naylor brothers [Josh single and Bo double] score / drive in a run in bottom 2.

The land of Cleve scratches put a run in bottom 5 to go up 2-0
Coulda had more as they left 'em loaded but it was a two out rally so tough to complain.

And the suddenly hot Giancarlo Stanton ties it with a 2 out / 2 strike / 2R HR in top 6th

That was the last pitch thrown by the starter Bibee.
Reliever Cade Smith Ks Jazz Chisholm to end the inning.

Bryan Rocchio leads off bottom 7 with a well earned walk (Rocchio was restless he was ready to kill)

Boone, of course, bitched about the call because that's what he does.
