If the sentencing was before the election, Diaper Don could claim election interference.
But now, he won't be able to claim that and the judge will be able to impose a sentence that fits the crime, including jail time.

The January 6th case would have been difficult to prove, but the documents case would have been a slam dunk. He even admitted he had them and there was a lot of photographic evidence. He'd be looking at striped sunlight for that one (and the subsequent obstruction charges).
