Dom Smith won Bench Player on one swing, which isn't that unusual in this category, since a game-winning pinch-hit can sway the vote big-time, but he had only one swing in the month in question -- the final swing of the season. I actually found myself thinking, in the aftermath of that game, "Well, I guess this kills Rajai Davis's award."

Suarez appears unhappy to have placed second in the NL homer derby.

DeGrom 1970 would get a fine from Hodges for that hair. But boy does he look good.

Crazy, by the way, that Edwin Diaz led the team in saves by oodles and was never once ROTM.

That HOME RUN LEADERS card kills it. I always noted which players looked like two heads on one torso in those cards, and Suarez and Bellinger keep that tradition alive.

Longer-haired deGrom is welcome, despite its anachronism. Fatter, sleepier Dom Smith, not so much.
