I mean, i'm saying it to you, not them. I don't know which people in power you're referring too specifically. I usually go with a more reserved 'vaccines are how we're going to beat this. they're super safe. please get vaccinated' in like, facebook groups or whatever.Willets Point wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 4:20 pmNot blaming Ceetar for this as he's not in a position of power. My beef is with the actually people of influence who have the same attitude and are making it known publicly.Willets Point wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 4:17 pm Again, saying "get over it" really isn't the best messaging if you actually want to encourage someone to do something.
I agree with the point that how they've been treated, but at _this_ point, after billions of doses... (India isn't very white for example) any hesitancy is unfounded. Just because they have more grounding for "the goverment's out to get me" type nonsense than Qublicans, doesn't make it a good stance.
A lot of the people we're talking about, the line-cooks, the barbacks, etc should've probably been first in line, if we'd done this from a prevention standpoint and not a political equity one.
