Thank you, Cooby. The first morning without him is strange, to say the least.
Hope for the best. Expect the Mets.

I want my next life to be as a G-Fafif kitty.

All comfort to the G's.

You think the kitty was hanging on just for the Showalter news?
Sounds like it to me.

We got our brotherly DNA tested. We are super-mutts
with no "inbred signatures."

Yay, Texas!! j/k, sorry couldn't resist.

20.20% Australian Cattle Dog
19.30% American Pit Bull Terrier
15.60% Chow Chow (we know, right?)
13.60% Miniature Schnauzer
08.40% German Shepard
22.90% Supermutt

We turn one in three weeks!

Any sign of a blue or dark purple tongue? That's the mark of a chow.

You know your stuff; Kappy, the handsomer dark-nosed guy has chow
chow tongue a little. Charlie doesn't. They both have a little chow chow
furrow thing going on the forehead too but that's it chow chow wise lol.

We're a bit worried about the Mook. We're moving in April and the stress of a new home on a nearly-20 year old cat seems like it may affect his health. We have to drive him back and forth to my SIL's three days this week while our current house is being shown to perspective buyers; we'll see how he holds up. Luckily she's only about a 15 min drive from us.

Yeah he's starting to show some signs of wear & tear. Not really surprising. He's sleeping more and eating less and he weighs just 6-7 lbs nowadays. But he's still a great lap cat.

This is Mookie's last week. We have people coming over on Saturday to give him as humane a send off as we can. I am overwhelmed with sadness today.

I am so sorry. I still mourn all my departed kitties.

Yes, deeply sorry. I hope the Mookster finds that the hereafter provides plenty of keyboards to sit on.

I'm so sorry. We have a bunch of pets but it never gets easier when you lose one.
