Those uniforms were something I can never unsee. Just atrocious. My company softball team has better uniforms.

I watched for ten minutes around nine. It's kinda funny how little it's
all become to me because when I was a kid the all-star game was like
seeing the who, zep and stones on the same night.

Those unis were really bad, and the caps out-did the fugliness...

Yeah, when I was a kid the All-Star game was a big deal. The stars seemed bigger then. It was fun to be able to root for, rather than against, guys like Stargell and Bench and McCovey. I know there are many good players today, but I'm much less familiar with them.

Gone are the days when a Mike Piazza and Johnny Damon were on the field air drumming to a rock band ( I forget who) Damon may even have sang with the band , anyway the cringe factor was high
