This was certainly a CPF friendly grid. I think only my third or fourth time getting all 9 squares.

⚾️ Immaculate Grid 132 9/9:
Rarity: 113
IMMACULATE!
🟩🟩🟩
🟩🟩🟩
🟩🟩🟩
Play at:
https://immaculategrid.com
@immaculategrid x @baseball_ref

300W/3000K - Seaver 5%
NYM/3000K - Verlander 13%
CY/3000K - Big Unit 31%
300W/BOS - Cy Young 23%
BOS/NYM - Trot Nixon .4%
BOS/CY - Clemens 17%
300W/HOF - Walter Johnson 6%
NYM/HOF - Yogi 2%
HOF/CY - Sandy Koufax 16%

I wanted to put Cy Young in the BOS/CY category, since, you know, he actually is Cy Young. Though I'm sure that'd get rejected as someone who never won the award.

Seaver would have fit in eight of the nine cells.

Pedro would have fit in six of them.

Yeah i figured out right away that i could put those guys a lot of places. but when i saw how easy today's grid was i knew i wanted to try for ALL METS and so i had to think carefully about where i'd actually need to save them for before i just wrote their names down.

Matt Harvey should be shown in a Mets cap. On BBRef, retired players are shown wearing the cap of the team they played the most games for.

I messed up today as Prince Fielder did not hit .300 for Milwaukee. Rather he hit .299 TWICE!

damn it.

I shoulda gotten Gooden. When I see the Rays logo, the first players I think of are Gooden and Boggs. Today, I forgot to do that.

I have no memory of Gooden pitching for the Rays OR for the Spiders/Indians/Guardians
It's stuff like that which makes me suck at this game.

9/9! though I really only "knew" 8 and took a shot in the dark that a random A's reliever played for Texas too (yay Steve Karsay!)

looking at the list aftewards, i have no idea how i blanked on Elvis Andrus, Marcus Siemien, Ruben Sierra, or JOSE CANSECO

I started to do this one on my lunch break but something came up and I never got back to it.
As usual I had all the record ones filled in and none of the team matches. I should have known Palmiero (but he didn't come to mind at the time) but you could give me 27 weeks to think about it and I'm not coming up with Steve Karsay, Tony Batista, or Mike Bordick.

Today's killed me, especially the Pirates 20 game winner, doesn't feel like the Pirates have won 20 games as a team in my lifetime!

I tried both Dock Ellis and Harvey Haddix, and both were wrong.
