This was a very aesthetically cool looking movie as you would imagine with Anderson. It was super meta as there were characters and stories within stories. About halfway though I stopped trying to figure it out and just enjoy it - how visually pleasing it was and how cool the music was (and was used). I wasn't sure how I felt about it walking out but I already want to see it again.

It was fun. I go hot and cold with Wes Anderson - really disliked The French Dispatch but liked The Grand Budapest Hotel. There are others I’ve liked and others I’ve disliked. While sometimes annoying the good well outweighed the bad this time.

I drove by Meteor Crater yesterday and the exit for Meteor City and was imagining Anderson seeing the same exit sign and being "oh fuck yeah i got an idea".
