He is now a US citizen.

Will Edgy have to change the flag under his roster picture?
I'm not sure if this has happened before.
We need a ruling from Stockholm.
Stay tuned.
In the meantime, congratulations, Jose.

The flag is meant to indicate the birthplace, rather than the citizenship. Tim Tebow rocked a Philippines flag, despite his being an American hero, and PJ Conlon presented with a Northern Ireland flag, despite Northern Ireland being a statelet that we at Mets Roster Central don't even acknowledge to exist.

Congratulations to Jose , I went though this process over ten years ago, the actual swearing in day is very fulfilling and emotional, I'm sure Jose felt it
