The Mets Minor League Player of the Year is Jett Williams.
Jett was terrific at St. Lucie before jumping to Brooklyn where he became truly an elite performer, finishing his season with a week-long stint in Binghamton. Apart from his jet-like ascension in the system, he has pretty much shown it all — power, speed, versatility (splitting his seasons between shortstop and centerfield), and a truly eye-popping walk rate. Plus he has a super-cool name.
The Mets second first-round pick from 2022 is still only 19, but it's hard to see his development slowing down. He could flatline in one or two areas, and still keep climbing on the speed and on-base-percentage. What a terrific pick this has so far seemed to be.

Christian Scott is the Mets' organizational Pitcher of the Year.
Now I know what you're thinking. You're thinking that "Christian Scott" is a cool enough name for a romance hero or a soap opera character, but it lacks the kinetic fearsomeness of "Jett Williams." Well, then, I think you're probably being a little shallow about this.
Has Christian played across three levels in a single season like Jett? Yes he has.
Does he have a particular statistic that makes your eyes pop like Jett's on-base percentage? Well, check out his strikeout-to-walk ratio. He's got the kind of walk totals that makes Bret Saberhagen elbow Pedro Martinez to point it out, and Pedro turns around and gets Bartolo Colón's attention, and suggests that they have a new member for their club.
Does he have the draft pedigree that Jett Williams does? No, he doesn't. He came in the fifth round, out of The University of Florida.
You know who came from The University of Florida? Pete Alonso did. Yeah, that was the second round, but let's not get stupid about this. Scott looks awesome.

That's not all though. The Dominican Summer League Mets Player of the year is Jeffry Rosa. I don't want to spend another hour making tables or nothing, but you can look at his numbers here. You'd better wear shades, though. That droolingly impressive .669 slugging percentage led the Florida Complex League. He had 13 doubles and 15 homers, which just isn't supposed to happen. He's probably going to either be outlawed or have his number retired at Citi Field before ever playing a game there.
Did you know that there's, like, 50 teams in the DSL? Each with about 35 players at any given time. So, "Leading the League" doesn't mean "best of 750." It's more like best of 1,750.
I'm completely and totally serious.
Any second now, my wife is going to remind me that I need to get something done, so I'm just going to run through all of these guys. The Dominican Summer League Mets Pitcher of the year is Franklin Gomez. He's marvelous. Catcher Hayden Senger (Binghamton) was awarded the Platinum Glove. You know he's simply marvelous because he hit .188. Brooklyn's William Lugo received the Infield Gold Glove and you know he's simply marvelous. Rhylan Thomas won the earned the Outfield Gold Glove and you know he's truly marvelous because he won a defensive award while hitting .311 across three levels, topping the .300 mark at each.
I know you're all so excited about this that your pants are around your ankles, and you don't even remember when or how this happened. But I'm going to need you to calm down. Some of these guys are still two or three days away from seeing major league action, so you're just going to have to make do until then getting your Reed Garrett groove on. In the meantime, well, think Jetly thoughts and know that I'll be there for you.
