The ex-Correas are up 1-0 on the current Correas entering tonight's action.
Hope for the best. Expect the Mets.

5-0 as Houston starter Framber Valdez is chased in the 5th. ex-Stro Carlos Correa has knocked in three of the five mini-soda runs

Correa has passed Jeter on some all-encompassing postseason RBI list, which speaks well for the diluted playoff format.
Hope for the best. Expect the Mets.

Something that won't be a sweep!
Hope for the best. Expect the Mets.

It's 2023 and these networks are still using garbage green screen tech to superimpose credit card ads behind home plate. The game feels like one long, shitty TikTok video.

Edit: some are less worse than others, but the black MasterCard ad was swallowing up the players who were supposed to be in front of it.
great googly moogly!

Twinkies have three innings to save their season.
Down 3-2 in bottom 7th
Hector Neris in to pitch for Houston. Isn't he the guy we used to beat up on Philly? Or, perhaps more accurately, he used to beat himself with walks and other funk.

oe: but here he goes 1-2-3 w/2 Ks to send the game to the 8th

Bottom 9th for Twins, down by one: K, K, K ... leaving Carlos Correa on deck as their season ends.

7th straight ALCS for the Astros as an all-Texas series looms.

Down go my adopted Twins. At least they broke their streak and won some games!
