That's the first borderline pitch to go our way in the last two innings. (K 3 to Outman)

Meanwhile in The International League, The Mets of AAA fell behind 6-1 to The Charlotte Knights, before tying the game on a two-out, two-run opposite field homer by Mark Vientos in the seventh, before piling on five runs in the tenth for an 11-6 victory.

In the fine burg of Binghamton, meanwhile, four shutout innings out of the pen from Cameron Foster along with a 12-hit barrage keyed a 6–3 victory over Reading. Three hits from Álex Ramirez raised his batting average to .348.

Next we visit The New York-Penn League. Down the shore, everything's alright, as Brookyn headed into the Garden State and blasted the BlueClaws for a 9–7 victory. Round Three pick from 2023 Nolan McLean is making the most of his so-far-sparse playing time, collecting three hits in today's start and raising his OPS to 1.200.

Lastly, we head down to Florida, where the host St. Lucie Mets scored four runs over the last two innings to eke out a 9-8 victory over the Tampa Tarpons. Centerfielder Nick Morabito collected three hits to raise his lofty line to .333 / .475 / .500 // .975.

When five teams take the field for an organization in a single day, the chances of sweeping victory across the board is a lowly 3.125% — but that's just what the Mets and their affiliates did today.

It's still early and I wouldn't be printing those playoff tickets just yet.
Even duct tape can't fix stupid. But it can sure muffle the sound.

Well no, but things are looking more promising than they did about three weeks ago.

Especially since the team is in the money right now, sitting on the third Wild Card spot, and a half game off the first.

This was a first-Mets-Win for Tonkin combined with a first-Mets-save for Garrett.
