Yeah, it took 10 minutes for some reason to figure out what was obvious from the get-go, that the ball ticked off of the knob of his bat.
I just don't know why they stick to it like it is the be-all, end-all. There is absolutely no flexibility. That's what gets me. And while I agree with y'all about how this is too often used as a magic number without regard to circumstances, I don't think that applies in today's case.
