There’s a real roster/bench management problem here when the Mets have no viable options in the 10th inning.

Burning 2 players to hit for Baty is a real problem. If Baty can’t be trusted to hit in a big spot, he can’t start. Not with Wendle and Nido and Narvaez holding down unproductive spots on the roster.

Well put, Gwreck. I hate to say it because '24 is partly-devoted to learning what they have but maybe it's time to swap Baty for Vientos.
It's also time to call up Jose Iglesias--who has 6 HRs for Syracuse--and cut Wendle despite his contract.
