Yup. Diekmans strike 3 was probably better

Well the Mets took your advice and released Diaz before the game.
They could've at least traded him.

What a game! Now that's baseball!

Hell of a job by Diekman to shut the door there.

Yeah, this one caught the plate.
Franco's to Bonds ... eh, maybe not.

Jake Diekman, lol.

One of the few times I've felt bad for Gelbs- Diekman is a terrible interview.

I was thinking of that when Alex Young was in the game. Young's slop sure looked like late-stage Franco. Not somebody who looks like he can survive missing his spots.

Jerry Blevins doesn't have any solid-color shirts, does he?

Nice to see Gelbs get to do a post-game on-the-field interview when the Mets are the visitors.

Of course, I couldn't hear anything Diekman said over YSIII blasting "New York, New York."

I was hoping we could use the PotG voting for this game to send Diekman out a winner, but on closer inspection, I had to throw the most points to McNeil.

Also, this was the first game in which I awarded points to Alex Young. Alex takes the place of Tommy Pham on my scoresheet.
