Tough call. We'll probably have to use him tomorrow. Is it better to have him cold after not having pitched for a week, or tired after having gone today?

Did you see the shot of that guy? He was almost as obese as Daniel Vogelbach.

Diaz is saving his best for the next two games.

Game over.

Whew.

He sat at 95 and peaked at 97, used his slider to get third strikes. I'm guessing he was saving some gas for tomorrow.

Pack light, guys. You'll be back in Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Terrific game. We were fortunate to get some help this weekend.

One more win for the playoffs. Let’s go get it.

Weird that I'm suddenly rooting for the Braves to beat the Royals today.

Braves lose. Let's just call it a split tomorrow and everyone takes the day off.

So if the Mets and Braves split, both teams make the playoffs and the Diamondbacks go home?

Wow.

Yep. Whoever wins the first game needs to start thinking about Tuesday. It would be a shocker if it were anything but a split. If the Mets win Game 1, they've got to get their key players back to Milwaukee and work on losing Game 2. They sweep and they have to go to San Diego.

I also preferred the Braves in the 1996 World Series to be fair.
