Nice that they came back to actually win a game, but how does that drop the ball prior to crossing the goal line happen EVER! much less several times per year as it seems to do in both college football and the pros? I mean, I understand that you're trying to look cool and casual while scoring, but do they think it looks cooler if you drop it as close to the line as possible to the point where the slightest misjudgment means that you don't score at all? That dropping it just one stride inside the line looks so dorky that you'd be ridiculed forever?
I don't get it and I don't get how coaches put up with it.

What Corley did wasn't a rookie mistake. It was an undisciplined punk-ass move. He was trying to show how cool he is rather than concentrating on getting the job done.

So, prior to this Jets fuck-up, y'know the one that negated a guaranteed six points committed by a rookie on the second time he ever touched the ball in a game and on his first (would-be) TD, this kind of play which should never, EVER happen? Well it hasn't happened in the NFL since ... the previous week!
How this happens even once is beyond me. How it happens several times per year in the relatively few games played in the NFL or major college football just staggers the mind.
